I've got an application which I believe lends itself to using a PIDA block with
FFTUNE to get feedfoward compensation. Unfortunately, Foxboro's documentation
regarding the PIDA/FFTUNE combination, and how you can set it up are lacking.
The questions I have after reading Foxboro's documentation are:
1) I know that the PIDA is implicitly connected to the FFTUNE block through use
of the PIDA's BLKSTA parameter in the FFTUNE block. Are there connections to be
made between the BIAS or MULTIN parameters of the PIDA block to the FFTUNE
block?
2) What "typical" connections would be made between the two blocks?
Does anyone successfully use the FFTUNE / PIDA combination?
