Hello Group
We are attempting to figure out why our 4.2GB hard drives are filling up and
what we found is the our historian SAM files are continuing to grow beyond
what we thought they were going to. We're at Version 6.1.2 on a AW51B.
We have 150 extended points for 720 hours at 1 second - the historian says
this should equal 427 MB but what we are seeing is that each SAM file grows
to around 35MB (x 150 points) thereby overfilling our 2.7GB partition. Any
ideas what we are missing here?
Another question: Is there any way to view the data in a SAM file from a
different historian? We have several historians and it would be nice to
not have to go to the individual station to view the data, stated another
way, we desire to ftp the SAM over to a different station and view it.
Thank you,
Dennis Sloan
