This site is set- up (by commercial software designer) to be user friendly
and allow you to upload your own pics, even to the gallery. I have some
reservations about that feature as to how to monitor for content. It is
possible that Travis is tweaking this or at least trying too. Or, it's
possible the site has gone "cuckoo" ;o) The gallery has not had pics added
to it from anyone accept me since the begriming when I launched the site 2
years ago. Possibly we can start to add more now, as folks are more
interested in this feature. I would like to offer other services, contents
and a more extensive resource gallery, but it is very labor
intensive($$$).Sooner than later, I will need to start charging for the
FPBA Association to operate the site in a more efficient and timely manner
and expand it's offerings. At this point, I continue to provide, update and
service the currently free offerings at my personal expense for 2 years
now. Many of the "tech" problems are consumer malfunction, not the
equipment or system (I am guilty here , myself---forgotten passwords and
user names, not activating the membership, signing up for google chat room
and thinking it's Assoc. membership, etc.)

I hope that everyone will be in agreement that a membership fee that would
help me to accomplish this and offset the web/tech expenses and grow the
site, by providing you this opportunity for a web presence with a
personalized profile page, a searchable membership directory and a
commercial contact job referral resource, as well as the Annual Convention
in Orlando, that you would get your money's worth from a fee paid
Association membership. And depending on the fee, I might throw in a
subscription to the FPBA Magazine. My basic thoughts are leaning towards a
free listing with name and e-mails as many have done, but a fee for adding
the profile, as it usually requires technical assistance. As Marisa
mentioned in Hawaii, her profile has gotten her 3 jobs in her area this
month alone from them finding her in the Association directory.! The
Charter members helped to "build the site" and I am indebted to their
support of my vision in 2006 with their nominal membership fee. But, now we
just might need a paid membership again to maintain and grow the FPBAA.and
take it to the next level.

Let's open this dialog and let me know if you are willing to support the
Association and the site through a paid membership?

Sincerely,
Cynthia Keeler
