A wrap is a film that is mostly glued to the surface of a very clean vehicle or
window. The film is stored in rolls or sheets and can be run thru a commercial
graphics printer. There are various makers of such film and depending on the
purpose of the printed design, has different degrees of longevity.
The price I got for my wrap included a certain number of hours for graphic
work. I sent them photos and an idea of what I wanted; my photos were all
candid shots, taken by me (which everyone who knows me, knows I have difficulty
keeping a camera still) * all photos need to be very high density DPI, so that
when they are blown up, the images are not grainy * I told them that I wanted
a background theme that would have stars and something whimsical, that would
appeal to everyone. They suggested the background colors because they draw the
eye to them. The company is called Road Rage here in San Antonio, TX, they
require 50% deposit, balance when complete. The overall process took a little
less than 2 weeks from concept to installation, which included one day to print
and 2 days to install. Total price $3300, working with Road Rage,
priceless....I highly recommend them! I get credit if anyone decides to use
them and mentions my name (you might even get a price break!)
