There is a site that you can google that is listed under
Cosmetics,.....that is what our face paints use...Cosmetic
ingredients, and it will show you the FDA approval rating of the
ingredients....including the colors. the site even explains which
'RED' colors and it's color ingredients are approved for use near the
eye, or the blues ingredients that are safe for use on the mouth. so
google FDA Cosmetic Ingredient Approval. The site also explains why
it is the ingredients that are approved and not the whole cosmetic.

I'm sure I have the exact site somewhere on my computer, and I will
look for it to post to the list.

Oh, I LOVE DIAMOND FX. If you like Wolfe, you will like Diamond FX.
The Sampler container is almost twice the amount of the Wolfe Sampler,
and Yes, the paints are made by the same company as Wolfe.

And then lets talk the "Junky" paints....Look at what is available,
and you will see on those Halloween displays everything from Rose Art,
to Snazaroo, Wolfe and Mehron. Plus a dozen other names that you have
never heard of. Some one mentioned that Rose art has a 28 percent
allergic reaction rate. Let's think about it....It's Halloween, It's
the cheapest thing out there, and it's being used used by people who
are not trained how to use and apply any paints. They think anything
they buy is going to be safe, they don't know to check the ingredients
against the FDA approved list, and they know nothing about keeping the
paints clean. They will paint faces that have acne, rashes, cuts,
burns, puss, snotty noses, drool dripping, tearing eyes, red eyes,
coughing, sneezing kids, and they will put hair clips in kids hair and
then use the clips in the next kids hair. All this said, it only
makes sense that the Halloween mom painting with the cheapest paints
which is usually Rose Art will have the highest negative reaction as
compared to a professional (that's us) who uses the best cosmetic
quality paints out there, pays more for the paints, and paints with
the highest hygienic care because we are highly trained
professionals.

Ok, I'll go see where that FDA site is and I'll post it to you later.

Jenny
