My 8 brothers and sisters and I were forced by my mom to stop, look or
listen whenever there was an artist or musician at work.  As kids, we hated
it!!!  But wouldn't you know it that it became such a habit and a part of who I
am, that I did it with my own daughter and now she does it with her two boys.
We always stop if even for a few seconds to enjoy the artist's work and thank
them for sharing it with us.  Same goes with my siblings and their children...

All of us have some artistic ability, whether it is music, art, singing,
sewing, cake decorating and/or cooking.  We all play an instrument to some
degree or another.  My daughter does too, and so do my grandsons.  Okay so the
little one only plays Guitar Hero right now, but he kicks butt, and he's on a
waiting list for a music program at his special ed class, he's Autistic.

I wished they had shown a video of the whole thing.  It think it would have
made a greater impact!

That old saying, "stop and smell the roses" also applies to "stop and
appreciate all forms of art"!!  It's a gift to us by the artists, how rude are
we not to stop and enjoy it...

Did those who did the experiment ask if those walking by enjoyed the music??? I
often listen to buskers on the underground & enjoy them, but I don’t ness
stop!! There is also the concept of perceived beauty......was this music
beautiful to all those who heard it????
