I forgot to address the rain part of your question. I ONLY accept "Rain or Shine" reservations. If it is a rainy season, I ask the the client at time of order if they plan to still have the party wether it rains or not. If they say NO, I kindly let them know that I ONLY accept "Rain or Shine" reservations.
The ONLY exception to that rule is the orders I take for animal parties like ponies, petting zoos, And also for mechanical rides & inflatables. With those orders, I am more forgiving. If rain is predicted for the scheduled date of event, the client may Cancel by 4pm the day BEFORE the event. We do NOT accept same day Cancellations. They must email or fax. No message, no phone call. Has to be in written format. But even in that case, I still keep the $25 original reservation fee per ordered reserved, even if they reschedule for now I am reserving a different date.
