you don't quite get the same blending with cakes as you do with creams  
as you can work a cream to get an airbrushed finish that I have not  
seen done as well with a cake, but you can do it with cakes......as  
Shirey said he now teaches with students own kits

However, one of the things that sets Olivier apart from the other  
painters is his inspired use of colour though...this is one place I  
feel that Fardel wins over FWW as I find the FWW colours to be more  
muddy than Fardel.
