"This flu" has killed less people then our "regular" flu. The flu (shortened term for influenza) kills 100 people EVERY DAY across the world. We've had 3 deaths from swine flu in the United States. Canada has had one. Some people, such as older people, young children, and people with certain health conditions, are at high risk for serious flu complications."... http://www.cdc.gov/flu/keyfacts.htm IMHO - Anytime you have a disease that attacks and affects the respiratory system, you run a higher risk of it going lethal without treatment. Most of the people who died suffered from underlying complications (Heart disease, respiratory issues, auto-immune deficencies, etc.). The global death is at 53, of which 48 were in Mexico. I hate to say it, but Mexico is not known for it's cleanliness or stellar health care system. If you REALLY want the hair scared off your head, read "The Hot Zone". Ebola, now THAT'S a virus!!!!
