Every year I do a charity event in Claremont. Pilgrim Place is a retirement community for the clergy. They have a Festival once a year to raise money for some of their members. People who dedicated their lives in service to God, but now just can't make ends meet.
It is on Nov. 13 and 14th., 10 am - 4 pm. I will be painting both days, all day. This is one of the ways I tithe. Last year about 5 people from SoCal came out to help supplement the raw volunteers who paint there. We did over 800 faces in two days!!! Doing this event is one of the reasons I am VERY fast. The pressure of keeping the kids happy, but MOVING them through is an amazing skill building event for me. I may not be a great painter, but by gumbo I am FAST. They will give you paint to use, but I always bring my own stuff. I just NEED my own stuff.
