For best results using a fixative spray...
1) First, make sure the model is NOT wearing any baby oil, body lotions, cocoa butter, hairspray, body spray, perfume, tanning lotions, spray tan, etc. 2) From about 10 inches away, mist the body with the sealant (if it looks wet when you put it on, you are spraying too close). Let dry 60 seconds. Repeat the process 3 more times. This creates a barrier between the skin that sweats and the paint. 3) Then paint your model. 4) Repeat the mist fixative application 4 times.?This acts as a sealant. The body is made to sweat. This is how our bodies stay cool. Thus, don't spray over the entire body, only the areas that sweat the most or get?damaged easily (neck, arm pits, under the breasts, etc).?? Most of these products have a little alcohol in them, thus... it is best to avoid spraying in a child's face or anyone's eye area. Kryolan's brand comes in a spray pump, plus you can buy refills. Kryolan's brand you can also run through your airbrush. Kryolan?also have an aerosol can version. There are several brands out there, but the main three I know of are... I have not been overjoyed with the products I have used. Mehron barier spray was good, but Green Marble was my best so far. GM is not for use on the face, as Mehron Barrier spray can be. I still use it, but have the model hold a plastic spoon over each eye so I miss the eye area and spary on thier exhale. :-) The only issue is, you have to apply it from a good 4-12 inches away or it will reactivate your make up causing it to blur. I apply 10" away and build up a layer as needed. Nothing I have tried, while using Aqua Color/water based, is perfect for armpits or the area between the thighs where it meets the groin. I would love to see what other people use. Do you think you will have to resort to the alchoal activaed temporary tattoo make up? Please let us know.
