Robbie you can hand cut easy up to 5 mil. You can hand cut thicker too, the ease of it depends on the material. ie Plaid stencil material is easy - Mylar™ stencil material is tricky even at 5 as it is slick, 7 doable but details are difficult - but it can be mastered, at 10 just too hard. Common sizes 3-4 for glitter, 4-6 for adhesive one time use airbrush tats, 5-10 for airbrush reusables.
