I still don't understand how long the class is.

The last class was "8 weeks, 2 hrs a night, for 4 nights a week", that
would total up to 64 hours of class.
And it sounds like you will shorten the class to 6 hours at a cost of
$450 per person.

This is a lot to get into a 6 hour class:

"makeup FX using prosthetics, making prosthetics, injury
 makeup, corrective makeup for men & women using color theory,
character
 makeup including making beards, sideburns and moustaches.....
including
 recipes to make your own materials such as blood....
 I would lecture, demo, then have you each practice."

Did I get it right???
