Ask to see the teacher's book for any illustrations and any art projects for the children to do. Often there's art project suggestions. You can pick up themes and inspiration from that. I'd be tempted to design at least 2, maybe 3, one of which that might appeal to the boys. For the frog part, there's the frogs, regular or amazon like. And don't forget their foot prints. I'd bet the boys would like that.
