Hi All - In the process of securing my web content with digital fingerprints and notifying sites and owners of copyright violations, I want to make two notifications here.
To those within the face and body art community who are using web content of mine on their websites, registed to them or through free sites like Merchant Circle and such - remove any web content taken and owned my me Loretta Kava DBA High Jinks. It's not creative writing but it is mine. Please simply rewrite the text you have taken into your own words. You have until Jan 15 to change or remove my web content at which point I will write you personally and contact your domain register host in accordance to the DMCA. On a second note I suggest face painters go to Google and type in the search phrase "face painting stencils". One merchant is using dozens of face painting images copyrighted by dozens of us. If you see an image owned by you I suggest you mouse over the image. Hopefully you have properly alt tagged your image to help prove you own it. If it come up leading you to a merchant website shoponline2011.com and bataki.com do not try to use the contact form to tell them to remove your image - the form does not work. Go to domainsbyproxy.com and use their form noting these sites are in copyright violation. I suggest to painters look into paintingphotofy.com which is also in clear copyright violation, as this site is cyber squatting and in using many images from painters. Feel free to notify other painters or forums of this information.
