I remember that a MIPS port is in the works, as well.

It's MIPS32/64, supports big and little endian and runs already good enough to be used for mipsel-android. (I have not worked on it myself though)

So we will take a look and maybe try to implement a draft for an "embedded" RTL compatible with the C RTL provided by microchip.
