You may be wrong...

I don't have the numbers for FPC, but Lazarus has an ever increasing amount of downloads.  (Numbers for Windows, you can find others yourself)

On Linux you have to consider that many distros include it.
And on top, you have other downloads, such as from git directly (FpcUpDeluxe).

That said, it could always grow faster. And hence this is **not** a "We are doing so great, lets lean back and just watch" statement.
