./configure libfprint with debug log messages and watch the messages from the verify example program. The default bz3 match threshold is 40. 40 or higher is a match, 39 or lower is a non-match. You may be able to improve imaging performance (i.e. decrease the number of false rejections) by lowering this threshold for your driver (the bz3_threshold driver attribute). Just be careful not to lower it too far, because that increases the likelihood of false acceptances.
