My first tests tonight didn't go too well... my system came with vista
home 32.

I tried both 'SnoopyPro' and 'sniffusb' (both based on the usbsnoop.sys
filter driver), and while SnoopyPro was able to give me some output on
other devices on the system like the usb webcam and usb hubs, when i
hooked it up to the authentic device, it didn't seem to work.

I could be because the driver for this is a WDM driver instead of a DDK
driver, i don't know.

I tried a trial version of a $185 shareware sniffer, and it worked but
it stopped recording at 256K. I always forget how annoying shareware is
whenever I try to do anything in windows.

I'll try more tomorrow.
