One thing stock libfprint lacks is the ability to store multiple scans of each finger. Which would allow to store a number of somewhat different scans of the same finger to coexist so that you have a better change to score a match whichever way you manage to swipe your finger this particular time. This is not an anwer to your question and as such is quite useless. Still, this is a valid topic for the mailing list (although it has been touched multiple times)... Regards, Artem
