Of course. > >> I tried this since I could not get the >> fingerprint enrolment button to appear in gnome-about-me: > > Since you did an upgrade, you need to enable fingerprint authentication > by hand in authconfig, as mentioned in the features page for Fedora: > https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/Fingerprint#Release_Notes That's what I did. Yet, there's still no "enroll fingerprint" button in gnome-about-me. It was there when I tried the liveusb a while ago. OTOH, when I run fprintd-enroll it allows me to save a print, and then asks for that fingerprint when using su: [jsikor...@snowball ~]$ fprintd-enroll Using device /net/reactivated/Fprint/Device/0 Enrolling right index finger. Enroll result: enroll-stage-passed Enroll result: enroll-stage-passed Enroll result: enroll-completed [jsikor...@snowball ~]$ su jsikorski Place your right index finger on UPEK TouchStrip [jsikor...@snowball ~]$ I can't get it to work in graphical login situations, including GDM. > >> [jsikor...@snowball ~]$ rpm -V fprintd >> [jsikor...@snowball ~]$ su >> Password: >> [r...@snowball jsikorski]# /usr/libexec/fprintd -t >> Launching FprintObject >> >> ** ERROR **: Got result code 2 from requesting name >> aborting... >> Aborted > > That means it's already running. > >> [r...@snowball jsikorski]# > > Cheers > _______________________________________________ fprint mailing list [email protected] http://lists.reactivated.net/mailman/listinfo/fprint
