I can confirm that with the patch, fprint_demo works in Gentoo.

I also made a new ebuild for libfprint-0.1.0-pre2, because in the
wschlich overlay the last ebuild is for libfprint 0.0.5. The ebuild is
attached, and it works with Hugo's patch withouth any modification.

The fprint_demo it's a little slow to enroll the fingerprint, and even
slower to verify it; but it works and I can see it.

Thanks Hugo, it was the last piece of my laptop that wasn't supported by Linux.
