Autogen first failed, then i had to install libtool, and autogen now is
working, system is now complaining about libusb:

checking for LIBUSB... configure: error: Package requirements (libusb-1.0 >=
0.9.1) were not met:

No package 'libusb-1.0' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables LIBUSB_CFLAGS
and LIBUSB_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

[mike@mike-lap v_0_3_0]$ rpm -qa |grep libus
libusb-devel-0.1.12-23.el6.x86_64
libusb1-1.0.3-1.el6.x86_64
libuser-python-0.56.13-4.el6.x86_64
libusb-0.1.12-23.el6.x86_64
libuser-0.56.13-4.el6.x86_64

      Hi Hugo

      Thanks for your quick reply.

I went to the link below and downloaded v_0_3_0.tar.gz
, untar it and found no configure file, even reading the INSTALL
file says to run ./configure, make and makeinstall. am i missing
something here? did i download the correct file?

      Mike

You probably need to do ./autogen.sh first
