H i to all: I asked Kahn to register my strong support for the property to remain as open space - and indicated some sources of possible funding for clean up... I hope he made my support part of the record.....
We on the so-called north side have long supported land acquisition on the so-called south side -- Cedar Swamp being a prime xample, Cushing Park and the failed attempt to preserve Macomber.... now many of us are looking to the congregational center and Bethany Convent parcels for conservation restrictions in part and perhaps using transfer development rights as a tool.. Its a long fight but worth it..
