At this stage of things, I'm going to disagree here.

The Planning Board did a perfect job of specifying what was
originally allowed and then followed up in their recommendation to
the Building Commissioner that the modification, as suggested by the
developer, not be approved.

The Building Commissioner, working with the Town Council and with the
support of the Town Manager and the Board of Selectmen, is going
forward to implement the above decision. If there is a negotiation
process involved, I am, so far, confident that the end result will be
acceptable to the Town, the abutters, and least of all, to myself.

The process under which this happened in the first place is in the
process of being corrected: The new Building Code Enforcement Task
Force will soon come into play and hopefully specify better procedures
