It's not everything, but it is something.

Frankly, I think we could get a lot further dealing with _everything_ if
people stopped insisting that moving $1.8 million off the cherry sheet has
no effect on the town budget, and then we moved on to look at the whole
picture.

I certainly don't insist that the charter school funding is the entire
problem.

But it is a $1.8 million problem this year, $2.7 million problem next
year, and about a $30 million problem over the next 10 years. And it
doesn't stop being a problem if we pretend it isn't one.

If you have alternate sources for that funding, or services that could be
cut to achieve that sum, please direct this information to the town
manager or CFO. Otherwise, don't ask me to pretend it isn't a problem.
