Hi all, Thank you all for the excellent and thoughtful replies to my questions and comments. There is much to consider in them. Below you will find the answers to my questions about the Carol Getchell trail in Saxonville from Leslee Willitts.
For the record, I do know the trail is well maintained. The trail has a natural (no pun intended) advantage because the Stapleton Elementary school feels a strong connection to it. The trail is named after a former, and very popular, principal of Stapleton and the Stapleton school uses the trail extensively as part of its curriculum (it's the environmental school). Both students and PTO volunteers help to maintain the trail and do a nice job.
