I'm glad to hear that the appointments to the Conservation Commission will be made this week. The summer is always a difficult time to get a quorum for boards as members are taking vacations.
Also, as i recollect, the town manager has, in the past, said he would have agreed readily to give over the appointments to the BOS. Maybe this would be a good time to take a serious look at alternatives to our present system.
