Thanks. I did that once, and it worked. However, every time I update the book, it goes back to being one page!
I *wonder*, though, if this isn't really an artifact of generated files. I update the pagination which fixes the problem, but then I regenerate, which creates a new, "broken" file. I wonder if FM is simply not smart enough to generate an extra page when it regenerates the list of tables. Anyone know? Update the pagination for the whole book. FM applies the pagination accross all files in the book. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Joe Malin Sent: Tuesday, January 24, 2006 4:25 PM To: framers@FrameUsers.com Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: FM driving me crazy! Well, FrameMaker 7.1 is driving me crazy again (so what else is new?) I'm trying to update a book with several files in it. One file has only one page in it. I set the pagination properties in Format > Page Layout > Pagination to "Make Page Count Even" so it will add an extra blank page. But every time I update the book, this file is set back to a single page. It's a generated file, List of Tables. I am setting its pagination from the book window, not from within the file itself. This is unstructured FrameMaker. Any ideas?
