This is happening b/c Frame 7 does not support Unicode, so it does not pass characters for unsupported languages (non-Asian, non-Western Euro) to Acrobat correctly. The two workarounds I use for this are (a) Shlomo Perets' Timesavers (www.microtype.com) or upgrading to Frame 8. Timesavers has been an excellent solution for our v7 docs, but there are some remaining issues with certain characters being corrupted which still requires us to do some manual work to correct the bookmarks. Of the two options, the upgrade is the way to go long-term b/c the Unicode support solves a host of other issues we encounter when working with Eastern Euro, Greek, Russian, etc.
