Hi Michael, Have you tried showing grid lines (View > Grid lines)? The default is quarter inch, but you can set the spacing to suit your needs (View > Options). You can then use the Gravity and Snap commands on the Graphics menu to help align. I must confess, though, that like others on the list, I position graphics using the object's properties.
