Hi Alan: Do you mean 1(a) to 1(c)? If so, I would write out the word "to". The "-" looks too much like a minus sign, and there's enough of a mix of words, numbers, parentheses and letters in there to discourage using another symbol that readers have to interpret. If you must use a symbol, I would go with the "...". Just my opinion.
