I've just recently loaded TCS 2 and gotten a good look at FM9. I really like the new interface, even though it is different. I especially like the ability to customize it and save workspace versions. However, I've found the Welcome Screen to be *really* annoying. Usually, welcome screens disappear once an app is running, but this thing remains. I realize it offers some shortcuts (and a lot of Adobe marketing links), but I can get those from my menus, just like any other Adobe application. I wonder why Adobe did this with Framemaker, when none of their other applications behave this way. Does anyone else dislike the welcome screen? <mailto:[email protected]> Susan Corcoran Technical Writer III Honeywell Scanning & Mobility 700 Visions Drive PO Box 208 Skaneateles Falls, NY 13153-0208 Phone: 315.554.6178 <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] _______________________________________________
