I have had that error message when importing XML files in FrameMaker
8.0p277, and it appears that one of FrameMaker's structured documents
(for entity formats?) hasn't been updated for a while.
To resolve the error message:
1. Launch FrameMaker and select File > Open
Specify the file:
%PROGRAMFILES%\Adobe\FrameMakerX\Structure\entfmts
[where %PROGRAMFILES%\Adobe\FrameMakerX is the FM install folder]
[Note: remember to backup files!]
2. Click Yes to the warning that it is a FrameMaker7 document, and also
the missing fonts dialog.
3. Click in the margin area, and then Select Formats > Characters >
Designer...
4. Select the character tag:
FmDingbats
5. Change the font family to an alternative [I used Courier New]
6. Click Update All
7. Select File > Save
Maybe Adobe will remember one day to update template documents?
