| Anita, have you considered a subscription to FrameMaker 11 (which would also get you automatically to Fm12 when released in 2014)? Disclaimer 1: Yes, Adobe got hacked recently. We all know it, and of course we should all do lots to protect our financial info online. Disclaimer 2: Adobe publicly announced the intention to release TCS5 and Fm12 in 2014 via their TCS blog recently. They also committed to keeping the perpetual licensing model for this version, no doubt due to the responses received on their recent web polls.
