1) There is a choice at the bottom of the S & R dialog where you can specify Book, Document or Selection. (Map is grayed out if it is an unstructured doc). I think there is probably a better way to implement this, since it always seems to be at the wrong setting ;). Maybe there could be a trigger key implemented by Adobe to restrict S&R to the current document (Shift-Alt F or something). 2) Sometimes hitting the Esc key will actually end an ongoing FM process. (No guarantees).
