I'm pretty sure you can't do this with recent Reader versions for Windows. We used to, but now we provide an installation file and I'm pretty sure we changed because the software required the change.
As you may have guessed, I don't deal with this bit of our process. The person who does is on leave now, but I could get more info from him in a fortnight if you want me to. Cheers, Rebecca >>> "David Bills" <dmbills at cfl.rr.com> 04/13/06 12:21 PM >>> Hi Everyone, I'm familiar with providing an Acrobat Reader installation file on the manual CD-ROM, but I just received an RFP that specifies, "Each CD-ROM shall have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed to enable the user to read the manual by using the CD-ROM only." I spent some time searching Adobe's Web site, but didn't find any information on a version of Acrobat Reader that runs directly from the CD-ROM. If anyone is aware of where I can find this information on Adobe's site, would you please send me the URL. Thanks in advance, Dave Bills _______________________________________________ You are currently subscribed to Framers as rebecca.officer at alliedtelesyn.co.nz.
