What tools do your test team use? For the harvesting side of things, would they be able to add a step into their automated test scripts, something that bashed the PrintScreen button?
Just an idea. No clue how you'd run a DIFF on an image file relating to the content of an image. Would imagine that may be a specialist (expensive) app, but very willing to be proven wrong.
