Hi Leah, Thanks for the OS information. Some of the previous thoughts still apply, but I'll reiterate one which has tripped up the software my company creates.
How draconian is your IT department? Check the permissions on the C:\Program Files\Adobe\FrameMaker7.0\ folder as well as the folder to which you're saving files. You may need to add Full Control of the folder explicitly to one or both of those. If you're not an administrator on the local machine, this becomes even more important. Have you tried doing the Save As to an implicitly writable folder like C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\? (It shows up as "Shared Documents" in the folder tree at the left.) Your desktop is another option. Hope this helps, Lea _________________________________ Lea Rush Software and Documentation Specialist Astoria-Pacific International PO Box 830 Clackamas OR 97015 PH: 800-657-3010 FAX: 503-655-7367 -----Original Message----- From: framers-boun...@lists.frameusers.com [mailto:framers-bounces at lists.frameusers.com] On Behalf Of leah Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2008 4:03 AM To: Frame Users Subject: New computer woes cont'd Sorry guys, didn't include vital information I am on Windows XP.
