I have a bunch of FrameMaker 7 book files which I need to move from a network drive to a local drive. This means that all file paths which reads for instance "Y:manual/version01/manual.fm" now has to be updated to a new file path which might read as: "C:Manuals/new/manual.fm". I can solve this by converting the book files to mif and use a text editor to search and replace text strings, but it is enormously cumbersome. There has to be an easier way - but how? Can anybody help?
