If so, you might want to consider becoming a volunteer and working at the event. Volunteers work in a variety of roles -- from registration assistance to room monitor. The roles are simple (and not too time-consuming) and allow volunteers to benefit from attending the event at no charge (although they do have to rent a room from the conference host hotel in order to gain complimentary access to the event).
