Hi Jo Indeed, I think the drawings are too complex to be rendered fast onscreen (in PDF). I've had a similar problem a couple of years ago with an Illustrator vector graphic which had A LOT of gradient fills.
We fixed the problem by saving the graphic as a pixel image (.png) instead of a vector graphic. Cheers -- Yves Barbion www.scripto.nu
