Most of our company is still using Windows XP and FrameMaker 7. The IT group has set up a Windows 7 PC for testing, including FM 7.0, with patch 579.
I have been using this setup through a remote desktop connection for some of my unstructured FM documents. All seems well except for seemingly random instances where Framemaker just locks up. I can close FM and restart with no trouble, but it is kind of annoying. Is there a fix for this behavior? Will setting startup compatibility to XP help?
