Adobe seems to be committed to introducing random, pointless changes with each
new version of Acrobat, and one of those is shuffling the Job Options files
around from place to place.

Yes, you can just copy the file it can't find to the location where it's
looking. To determine where it is and where it needs to be, just search your
hard drive for files named *.joboptions. Don't be surprised if there are
several locations, and some duplication of files.

Before my switch to Win 7, my Win XP install had been through several major
Acrobat version upgrades. I think I found *.joboptions files in half a dozen
places; some contained only the install defaults, some contained one or more of
my custom versions. Since disk space is cheap and plentiful, I just made sure
that each and every location had a complete and identical set of *.joboptions
files.

HTH!
