And further, that building block is only needed in order to terminate a
previously specified character format. E.g., for variable definitions like
this:
<BigUglyFont>Acme</> anvil
You don't need to specify the default paragraph font at the beginning of a
variable; it's applied automatically.
Specifying it explicitly does no harm in FM (AFAIK), but maybe it trips up RH.
It may be grasping at straws, but worth checking out, IMHO.
