Hi all, The new interface of FM-9 ad FM-10 is the reason for this 'unreliable behaviour': If the focus in not the document (and you loose it very often!), then F8, F9, CTRL-8 ... do not behave. This happens for example if you have changed the zoom factor and not yet clicked again within the document and want to apply a ? format.
The new UI is not at all keyboard friendly - it's calling for much mouse work. Changing the zoom factor by means of an ESC sequence does not change the focus and hence the shortcuts still work. I have reported this during the FM-10 beta testing, but is was not fixed even in the newest update 10.0.2 And yes, there is an additional top 'selection' "Not applicable" in the format drop down list which forces us to tap 'Arrow down' for applying the default format.
