If you press ESC, v, P it takes you back to the source location as long as the source and destination are in the same file. If source and destination are in different files you just go back to the source doc and you should be in the same place, as long as the file didn't close.
Does anyone know why sometimes when you click on a cross-file cross-reference the source file closes and sometimes it does not close? I edited the *cmds.cfg* file to add an easier shortcut, ESC, b, b Mine is located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\FrameMaker9\fminit\configui\cmds.cfg It's not so hard to edit.
