Hi. Is it possible to use Extendscript to import a specific portion of a Word document? My company records various specification information (paragraphs, tables, graphics) for our products in Word documents, and a portion of those Word documents contain information that will be imported into our FrameMaker manual files. I was tasked to find out whether an Extendscript could be used/created to pull in only the specific manual information. One idea that was offered was to place some text identifier, such as <Manual Only>, at the beginning and end of the manual portion of each Word spec document. If there are better ways to tag this information, please let me know. Also, please be aware, I have no influence on these spec documents; I just have to use them.
