After private input from Bernard Aschwanden about [1]this bug report I
did some more experiments and what do I see?
* Select a marker
* Use View > Pods > Markers⦠to open a different dialogue (pod). I
keep it open
* Open pod Insert Marker.
* And voilà : Insert Marker behaves as intended - adapt to the
currently selected marker showing both type and contents!
* Restart FrameMaker
* Open document and select a marker
* Open pod Insert Marker (docked)
* The old behaviour: dialogue does not adapt to current marker
* Open View > Pods > Markers (docked)
* It shows the list of markers and tool tips display the marker
contents
* Open Insert Marke (docked): still not useful
* Undock View > Pods > Markers (Heck, why do the two pods have the
same title "Markers"?)
* Open (docked) Insert Markers: still not useful
* Undock View > Pods > Markers
* Undock Insert Markers pod
* Select Marker
* Hey, Insert Markers behaves!
More experiments show that the docked marker "Insert Marker" does not
behave. Only the undocked does.
I have updated the bug report with these findings.
