these are now merged onto a (new) 1.3 branch of ATCT. i haven't made a release yet, however. that's because for one i don't have permission on pypi to do so, but more importantly because i'm not sure if any other changes still need to go into ATCT.
hence i've only committed the change to `etc/source`[*] so far. please let me know if anything's missing and how we should proceed regarding the pending release for ATCT.
